Stubby coffee mug It's Design Week here in Stockholm and my mail box is flooded with press news and invitations. I must admit that I somehow managed to ignore that this would happen. Since I am full of ongoing work assignments, I do not have much time to set aside for visits to the city - or time for updates. However, a few selected meetings are booked and the rest I will certainly be updated with via my social channels. I try not to open every single email. But at the same time I am so curious and promise myself that I will do it fast. Through all my years as an interior design nerd, I have learned what I like and do not. My style does not change much and I like to avoid too much impression. So what I fall for - is something I will like over time. And I recognize it when I see it. This. Bad Ass Ceramics. I did not know the brand before. But when a small picture appeared in the invitation from NK, I had to look further. I found an expression and a story with a wonderful, life-affirming feeling. Handmade ceramics can really set the tone in an interior. And I like this. A lot. Bad Ass Ceramics, images via Anette Boysen Find out more about this Swedish brand and ceramics here.
